How to set different website URL between placements on Facebook ads?

Facebook ads manager provides various features to advertisers to run their ads more powerfully. In Facebook ads, you can set different website URL for each placement. For example: If you run your ad on both Facebook Feed and Instagram Feed placements, you can set different website URL within a single ad. So, the user who clicks your ad on Facebook feed redirects to a different landing page, and the user who clicks your ad on Instagram feed redirects to a different landing page. It’s amazing, RIGHT? How to do this?

1. Choose Placements

You can select the placements at the adset level.

2. Set Different Landing Page By Group 

When you upload your media in your ad, your media will be converted into various formats according to the placements you selected at the adset level.

3. Set different landing page at the group level

Normally, media is converted and grouped into three major groups. 

  • Feeds, In-stream ads for videos and reels
  • Stories and Reels, Apps and sites
  • Right column, Search results, Instant articles

You can edit the group and set the different website URLs for each group. 

If you want to set different website URLs per each placement then expand the group.

Edit the each placement and update the Website URL.

In this way, you can set individual landing pages for each placements on facebook ads.
